We may revise these Terms at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the Terms on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms. If for any reason any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

In this document “We”, “Us” means ColourWave Glass and “You” means the prospective buyer.
Details about products
All products advertised in this shop have been made in our UK workshop in Crowthorne by Helena Ross. All pieces may contain small bubbles in them that occur as part of the process of making these items. We will not sell a piece if we think that the bubbles will cause a problem in the future.
Efforts have been made to ensure the photographic images are as close as possible to appearance of the finished goods. We cannot control the appearance of the images seen on your computer viewing screen as its settings may be different. In addition, the appearance of glass objects are sensitive to the surroundings they are placed in, and respond to different light quality, and proximity of nearby coloured objects.
If the product was purchased from our online shop, there is an option for cancelling the purchase and returning the goods.
Prices and Payment
Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.
We have used reasonable care and skill in compiling the content of our website but make no warranty, express or implied, as to the nature or accuracy of any material on the website. The confirmation we send to you is conclusive as to the prices and delivery charges. Although every effort is made to ensure complete accuracy, some prices, delivery charges or details shown on the website may change from time to time, and it is possible that errors will occur. We will use reasonable endeavours to rectify any errors as swiftly as possible.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus the cost of delivery as shown on the online shopping basket.
Payment for all orders is at point of placing your order.
All payments for items purchased through this website will be processed through Shopify including credit and debit cards, or other payment methods such as Paypal or Google Pay if this is what you decide.
We currently do not charge VAT at present
Orders
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Once you have placed an order a confirmation will be sent to you that your order has been received. We may refuse to accept an order
- where goods are not available
- where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment
- if there has been a pricing or product description error
- if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
If we are unable to fulfil the order all payments will be returned in full promptly and at latest within 14 days.
Delivery
- Once payment is received and confirmed by Shopify to us.
- All items purchased in the Shop will be sent out within 1 - 4 working days.
- Delivery will be via a courier and a tracking number will be emailed to you.
- A dispatch note will be included in the packaging. At present pieces are shipped to the UK only however we are arranging to supply worldwide shortly. Overseas customers will be responsible for paying local taxes and customs duty if they are required.
Cancellation and Returns
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract for whatever reason if you so wish, provided you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the products. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to order despatch, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you return an item that you are not pleased with, or which is faulty, or has been damaged in transit, the item must be returned to ColourWave Glass in its original packaging and or original condition. All merchandise returned must be accompanied with a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. The costs of returning merchandise to us shall be borne by you, but we will reimburse this cost when the merchandise is received.
Please use a recognised courier service, such as the one that it was delivered with, to return your purchase. The parcel is your responsibility until it reaches our address.
If your merchandise is faulty, if possible, please send us a photograph of the problem so that we can advise the best remedy. If the damage is major, we would normally ask you to dispose of the merchandise. We would normally provide a replacement item at our expense or a refund, at your choice.
Care and Use of the Glass
We recommend cleaning the glass with a damp soft cloth. If necessary, a small amount of mild detergent can be used, rinsing afterwards. The glass should be dried with a cloth. Do not wash in a dishwasher or very hot water.
The merchandise is not recommended to be used in direct contact with food, due to the way that the items have been made and from the glass manufacturers recommendations; it is a decorative item only. The texture of the glass may be stained or etched by contact with highly coloured, or chemically active materials.
Warranties
The merchandise is sold for decorative purposes only care and usage information has been provided and there is no warranty for other care methods or uses.
The glass used and the processes used to make the merchandise are common in the craft industry. To ensure the glass is strong and does not crack or otherwise degrade in its recommended purpose it is carefully heated, annealed and cooled using commonly-used processing conditions. Spontaneous faults are very rare.
However, being made from glass, the merchandise will break if dropped onto hard surfaces or if hit by hard objects. We do not provide a warranty for such damage. If the merchandise develops a crack within 6 months of purchase, please contact us, preferably including a photograph of the fault, and we will discuss how we can provide a remedy if appropriate.
Service and Support
If we make a mistake in the details of the order or there are problems with the merchandise, please contact us as soon as possible. Our goal is for you to be totally satisfied with your purchase.
Complaint Procedure
We are always more interested in having satisfied customers than providing merchandise that is not appreciated, so we are more than happy to hear from you if you have issues, which we would hope to resolve amicably.
If you are dissatisfied and you have made a complaint about the merchandise or our service, and have exhausted all the options to resolve this with us, then we are willing to jointly access help from a certified UK Alternate Dispute Resolution service.
Liability
Our total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the merchandise supplied by ColourWave Glass to you. We shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss however this occurs. We cannot accept any liability as a result of a failure to comply with specific instructions set out on this site such as the care and use of the merchandise.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence (as such term is defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977)
- fraud
- misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter
- any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the content on this Website shall remain vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
The material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only. Any other use of the material and content on this website is strictly prohibited and you may copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. We both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for all purposes in connection with these Terms including our Privacy Policy.
